How it works
A review, not a new registration
Recategorization checks whether the parameters of an existing Monotributo taxpayer remain within the current category. Higher or lower parameters may indicate that a change should be evaluated.
ARCA currently reviews the latest 12 months in February and August. People with fewer than six months of activity and people whose category remains unchanged take no recategorization action under the general guidance.
The checker never performs the official process. It exposes the selected rules and directs you back to ARCA when the situation needs confirmation.
Frequently asked questions
When is Monotributo recategorization?
ARCA currently provides two periods each year: February and August.
Which months should I use?
Use the latest 12 rolling months of activity, not automatically the calendar year.
What if I have less than six months of activity?
Under current ARCA guidance, people with fewer than six months do not recategorize.
Does this tool complete the official process?
No. It does not access ARCA or request your Clave Fiscal. It only provides orientation.
